What Music Means to Me

I have always had an interest in music ever since I was a child. During my early childhood, I often went to work with my mother. My mother is a celebrity hair and makeup artist, meaning that she often did the hair and makeup for those within music videos, and I got to see what went on behind the scenes, on video shoots too. I got to see some music videos of Girls Aloud, The Pussy Cat Dolls and Boyzone. I enjoyed pop music whilst I was a child and was able to attend concerts of the three pop groups I listed above at the o2 arena whilst they were on tour.

As I grew older and reached my teenage years I grew to like R&B and Rap music more than pop, and still do now. My music playlist on my phone features artists including Ashanti, Ja Rule, Mary J Blige, The Notorious B.I.G, Fabolous and Lauryn Hill.
