Costume Update

We have chosen for our costumes to conform to the codes and conventions of the indie genre in order to appeal to our target audience. However, there is one character who is dressed differently. Indie girls wear  loose dresses,baggy jackets and trainers. Our first girl wears exactly this. She wears a floral baggy dress with an oversized hoodie. We dressed her like this to communicate that she doesn't care about her appearance. This character contrasts with our other girl, who is vain and is always presentable.





The second girl wears tight fitting clothing and short skirts with heels. We chose for her to wear this because we want her to look out of place and contrast from our first girl. 












Our artist, Alex Andrews in our video will wear dark casual clothing. This allows him to stand out from the other two actors. Casual clothing is also conventional aspect of the indie genre, meaning that he is dressed similarly to our first girl actor, which is essential our narrative
