Social Media Pages

Social media sites have a strong influence on the younger generation. Majority of youths use social media ranging from Facebook on a PC at home to Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and a variety of other social apps on their mobile phones.

In order to promote our artist, in particular to our target audience, we created social media sites for our artist; Alex Anderson. We designed both a Twitter page and Instagram page, using the Photoshop software and authentic templates of the social media pages. Images of the Twitter and Instagram pages are to the right and below.

We chose Twitter and Instagram in particular, because research that we carried out presented that these are the two preffered popular sites by our target audience, who are aged 15-25 years old.

We feel that the presence of our artist on social media sites will result in a larger audience for the music video, as advertisment for the music video can be distributed on his pages.
